Inspired By NatureAn exciting exhibition of work by local
artists aged 5 to 85 was on show in Elham on
Saturday 23rd and
Sunday 24th October 2010.
The work shown was created at
a series of free pottery workshops with artist Annie Begley over the
summer. The workshops were themed as Inspired By Nature and encouraged
young and old to work together to create a piece of work that could be
placed in the garden.
Participants were invited to apply in
pairs that were two generations apart following a successful bid for
funding by Play For Elham to Shepway District Council’s arts fund.
The
exhibition was held at
Elham Methodist Hall, High Street, Elham.
We hope you managed to come along to see the fantastic work
that was created. The
exhibition will also tour to Folkestone in the near future.
