Play For Elham organised a giant picnic to co-incide with
National Family Week's Guinness World Record breaking attempt to hold the largest concurrent picnic on Monday May 25th, 2009.
With
39 attendees our picnic counted as part of the successful bid to break
the World Record. With over 15,000 people taking part Nationwide, early
indications are that the record has been broken but we are awaiting
final confirmation.
Despite rain in the morning, at 1pm the clouds opened for us and the sun beat down. A fun time was had by all...

Grand Opening
The refurbished King George V playground has now opened! It was a fantastic afternoon with hundreds of people coming to help celebrate the new park, which has been funded by Groundwork UK.
