The Secret Worlds of ElhamThis is the name for our
Folkestone
Triennial project. Inspired by a piece of work by Cristina
Inglesias that will be part of the Triennial Show, we will be creating a
series of ‘entrances to other worlds’ around the village!
Designed
to show off the village’s best assets we are looking for spots around
the village to build some small works of art outdoors with groups of
children. We hope to have something up at the Village Hall and in the
Church yard and a couple of other spots – all still to be negotiated!
With
the help of White Shed artists Sally Higgs and Cheryl Papasian, we have
built our first Secret World down at the King George V park. It’s a
beautiful living willow hut that we will be getting children to help us
decorate inside.
If you would like to get involved with this
project please do get in touch!
